ParticipantI just purchased this car from an estate via a close friend of the deceased. Needs some work, last registered/run in 2001. I grew up near Watkins Glen, NY and was fortunate to have a friend whose father was on the Sunoco team, so I had unlimited access to the track and pits (as a teen). As a result I watched many now well-known drivers rise to stardom and fell in love with “all cars”. My first car in high school was a MG. As an adult I acquired a 1966 Jaguar Saloon Mk II, right hand drive and then moved into “muscle cars” that are fun, but not the thrill of a sports car. This latest acquisition is an entirely new “beast” (90-ish HP?) so I have much to learn and much to do. I’m hopeful that I’ll make some contacts via this organization that can help me so that I can get this car back to the correct condition it deserves. I am interested in any thoughts anyone may have re: this.

KeymasterWelcome to the Lancia family. We are happy that you are joining us and if you need any support or input on where to find parts or information, the Lancia community can be a great resource. We have a club magazine with information from other members as well as specific model information. We also send out a “ALC Update” on a monthly basis via email. We still have not joined most other suppliers in raising the membership dues and still only charging $35.00/year for domestic membership.
Please feel free to contact any of the officers of the club for more information.
Again, Welcome

ParticipantHi Leif,
I received your email today in response to needing help finding parts and possibly a mechanic. My original post had my car info in the heading, but here it is: 1967 Fulvia Sport 1.3. Thanks in advance for any help anyone can provide. Also is there a list of members with contact information that I would have access to?

KeymasterAs a American Lancia Club member you will receive a Roster with both names, addresses as well as a list of cars with the owners name. This way you can contact a member direct as well as also have access to club advisors and a spare parts “guru”.
The membership is only $35.00/year Domestic and $45.00 foreign. It is easy to apply under “our club”.
Hope to hear from you.

ParticipantHello Leif,
I just went into the website and paid for a domestic membership. Thanks much for leading me to that link! I am looking forward to discussions and most importantly, tapping members’ expertise and sources. The car has not been started since 2001 and although it was garaged, it needs a bit of work before I start it. Found a new air filter, changing the oil and filter, and currently am going through the fuel system to remove the 22 year old maple syrup style gas from all components. Removed and cleaned the fuel tank, then prepped and recoated the inside of it (yesterday). I looks almost like new in there. After 2 weeks of working with degreasers and penetrating oil, I finally have the fuel level sending unit physically working, electrical check is next. At any rate, really loving this car and the project and the more I explore it, the more I realize the engineering that went into it. Thanks again.
